Goodness...again I can hardly believe that its been a month since I have written on my blog. Not a very good journal-keeper. I blame it all on my Farmville and now my new cafe ..LOL..However, why not...its mindless and it helps to unwind after such long and busy days.
What more can I say? With Karen gone, we are all coming together to keep things at Glen Pine. Oktoberfest was last Friday and it was an awesome success! I can hardly believe that we are heading into Thanksgiving next weekend already. We did attend the 40th anniverdary celebration for Port Moody Aquarians but it was a little disappointing as not everyone we wish could have been there attended - too bad as it could have been a little more fun but the visiting we did with the friends who attended was wonderful.
Wings is also back in full swing and so its a little crazy...but crazier yet now as we get used to the new schedule of Darcy working on a 6 month contract with the City of New West....a good thing as it will help us patch up a few holes and help us try and stay afloat. There is no doubt that the global recession continues to have impact on a great many families still. We are also counting down to Chrissy completing and getting her Hair Art Design diploma from John Casablancas. Her car is also dead but then the timing was good as she is on transit anyway.
The chill does feel like its in the air. I actually do like this time of the year and finds that the Fall does seem to also fly by and then its my birthday and Christmas before we know it.
What else...really not too much hence the reason why blogging hasn't been happening frequently maybe? I always have every intention keeping up...
