It has been a beautiful sunny weekend...just a year ago it was Chrissy's grad and this year we did it again for Sheldon. After debating back and forth, the spectacular pink dress made its second appearance, and it actually looked just as stunning and fit so well..so many inches taken off this year. This year, the hair was blonde and not dark. It was a far more relaxed affair. We drove them to Glenayre to meet up with Sheldon's friends and their limo but we did not stick around as Sheldon's Dad was there to take photos. The food was apparently not as good at the hotel and the aftergrad event according to Chrissy different from last year. Sheldon did not win anything...they were restricted number of tickets to enter for prizes. I was planning on going out at 11:00 p.m. but I think too much sun sitting on a sundeck gave me a terrible migraine by 10:00 p.m and an upset stomach (probably from the gin & tonics - we were invited to stop by with all the Wings girls to see Jill - hard to believe the Jiggs is a grad now). So I did not get to volunteer with Joanne for the aftergrad this year. Just seem to not have the stamina to fight the headaches and the tiredness nowaways.
What a sunny and warm May weekend. We did start out by having Fish & Chips at Pajos at Rocky Point Park on Friday after work as we had time to kill before picking Chrissy up from her nail appointment since Sheldon had her car at work. There is something very summer-like about having fish & chips in the park. Does that look yummy? A little too greasy for me but luckily we don't do this too often. On Saturday, it was low-key grad stuff and today it was staying in the shade and trying to get rid of the headache for going back to work tomorrow. I had brought work home to do but I think I will have to do it tomorrow. We took the dogs over to the off-leash park and Ben-ben had a mud-party by the water tap area. It is such a shame that the weekend does go by so quickly especially when I am so stressed and could use more down time. Jot sent some Still plugging on as always...hoping for a change in fortune and a change in stress level...soon...always ever optimistic!
