Yesterday, August 3rd was our 24 wedding anniversary...it was a very quiet day. We really didn't have any plans at all. It has been a very rough ride in the past 5 years or so and we have yet to find out a even course but I hope we do as we head into our 25th.Here we are many years ago. Many times we wish we could go back and do things differently but there's no going back, only forwards. So we ended up going to sushi town for lunch - we enjoy eating together thats for sure. Came home and watched Masterpiece Theatre Mystery we had taped on the PVR and had an afternoon snooze - thanks goodness its so much cooler now.
We took Benny with us when we had to pick up Chrissy and Sheldon from the ferry terminal. He quite enjoyed himself getting to go on a car ride. Sheldon had lacrosse provincials in Victoria and his team won the gold medal so he was quite pleased with the outcome. His team go to Edmonton for Nationals in a couple of weeks. We did make out amazing discovery though. The big tree with the red leaves in front of our house actually is fruit-bearing. Darcy was washing the deck upstairs and discovered the fruit. Then we saw tons of it hanging all over. Guess the warm weather and proper pollination. We have been oblivious all these years though Rhonda claimed we have always had fruit. We tasted and they are more plum-like than cherry-like in texture and taste.
That sounds like the perfect anniversary date to me! All the best to you and Darcy. May the years ahead bring you continued love and happiness!!
