A day off

Well, a day off to go to an eye specialist appointment. Because I work an extra 25 minutes each day, I get one flex day off each month...it works out well for appointments and stuff like that. I was up bright and early to see the eye doctor in New Westminster. It was a very strange test that I took to check on the status of health of my optic nerve. My eye pressure has not gone down so its another test on my next EDO day off on March 27. All the eye drops they put it makes your vision totally blurry and you almost feel nauseous for a few hours.
I was in search of an old movie to show the seniors next week that suprisingly I did not own...Steel Magnolias. So I have been wanting to check out the Wal-Mart Supercentre at Grandview that used to be the Costco. It was huge but it was not half as impressive as the supercentre in White Rock...and I did not find my movie there. I didn't find it at the Superstore a block away either. We decided to go for lunch as a treat since we haven't been able to afford that and then I found the movie at Rogers bundled with Sleepless in Seattle which means I will have to show that movie too at work.
Came home and just decided that I needed to rest on the couch. I was supposed to go to Sharon's birthday dinner party tonight at a Chinese restaurant and then over for dessert after but I am going to take a raincheck and stay home. I must still be fighting something because I am feeling a little run down...had the worst high blood pressure check this week that I have had in a long time. Darcy has an interview on Monday and had had a few calls, so its picked up a little since the long drawn out nothingness in December and January. I so wanted to and needed to win the 43 million dollar lottery jackpot...like millions of others in Canada!
Anyway...back to my book....

  2. Yes, thanks for the link to get a nice wallpaper!! The eye pressure is still too high...so more tests to go for to determine the healthiness of the optic nerve.
